Bayley House Charity Luncheon

Fundraising In the Community

After two long years, it was so exciting to have the Bayley House Charity Luncheon back! Bayley House has been fortunate to be the beneficiary of the Ian Hyman Charity luncheon for over 8 years now.

The charity luncheon and our relationship with Ian and his team has been nothing short of amazing and something we are very grateful for. Not only does the day provide much needed fundraising but it also provides a platform to spread awareness of who we are and the people we support. This year quite a number of new faces were present, which meant so many more people were introduced to Bayley House.

The room at the RACV Club was at capacity with all available tables completely booked by over 350 attendees. The crowd was entertained on the day by a panel of guests which included St Kilda WAFL  player Daniel Fatouros (who also happens to be a Bayley House client), multi-sport Para-athlete Olivia Sayers, Collingwood AFLW player Brittany Bonnici and Hawthorn great Robert DiPierdomenico.

Over $150,000 was raised from tickets purchased to the event, raffles and also through the drawcard of the day; the auction conducted by Ian Hyman himself.

Days like these don’t happen without a lot of moving parts. We are fortunate to have an incredible volunteer committee who work many months in advance planning every detail of the day. A number of organisations and individuals also donate their time and services as either auction items or raffle items which contribute to the day. Thank you to our volunteer organising committee and our MC, Russell Fletcher who ensured the day flowed seamlessly. A big thank you also to everyone who attended for their support.

We look forward to seeing you all next year.
