Teen Lino Print Workshop

This is a great 3-hour introduction to lino printing workshop especially designed for teens interested in learning printmaking skills. Suitable for teens aged 14yrs to 17yrs. Hosted by our friends Squid Ink Press, our facilitators will take you through the whole process of designing an image, carving the block and printing with a press. Lino prints are bold, graphic works of art! and are a great addition to any student's art skills. All materials included and snacks to keep you going. Saturday Social Print Club

Bayley Arts is excited to announce our monthly Saturday Social Print Club. Since starting our printmaking workshops, students are keen to keep on printing. Social print club offers a large studio space, printing press and use of our rollers and tools during the session. You will need to bring your own inks, plates and paper. Advanced Relief Printing Artist Booklet Workshop

In this intensive six-hour workshop, tutor Ceclia Jacobs will take your lino cutting skills to the next level by introducing techniques such as chin-colle and shaped blocks. Students will experiment with a variety of Japanese papers and learn about colour theory while producing a beautiful concertina artist book that tells a story through printmaking. This workshop is designed for a small group setting and participants will need some prior experience in linocut. Includes a lunch break.
