When working on this piece Robbie remembered with fondN his visits to a pastry shop local to his family and home called Aviv. Throughout his life for many celebrations he and his family would visit this store to buy their beautiful bagels, biscuits and pastries. Robbie recalled the colours, shapes and textures of his favourite pastries at Aviv to create this engaging abstract image reminiscent of cake, pastries, family, friends and celebration.
