This group of artists and friends took the opportunity to connect with each other after a long while, as lockdown had prevented their connecting for many months. They chose to work together toward the common theme of their love for pets. Artists worked on cutting and collaging small pieces of textiles to combine colour, patter and texture. Dima had a cat called Dusa who he still speaks about a decade later, this piece connected to Dusa for him. Another artist, Stephen said “I liked working with my friends. We worked as a good team.”- Marion said of this piece: “I helped make the cat’s nose.”
