Teresa researched for this painting by looking on the internet for pictures of the Phillipines. Teresa’s mum and family are from the Phillipines and she wanted to learn more about her culture and this country. Teresa was inspired by a picture of people in a rice field and she chose to create a painting about this. This painting connects Teresa to her family background.
