Every year at Bayley House there is a great celebration day for the AFL Grand final. Everyone comes in their football team colours, numerous football players and community groups visit, games and competitions are played on the oval, sausages and popcorn are eaten. It is a day that brings everyone in the Bayley community together. This year was the first opportunity since CoVid19 that Bayley House could do this in person out on the oval, it was an exciting day. In the run up and anticipation of this celebration MeiSzi, Megan and Sarah designed and painted their own ‘Bayley Bees’ football jersey. At next year’s Football celebration they will share it with participants and special guests to sign as a special keepsake celebrating this community event.
