Working towards our goals

Around Bayley In the Community

Our Community Engagement program continues to thrive with many new placements being supported in 2023.

We have seen growth in exisiting relationships and are thrilled to say we have witnessed expansion with new placements. Coles continued to provide invaluable on the job experience for a growing number of our clients who have all been extremely excited to don the red vest and cap. Skills learnt in the supermarket environment are highly regarded as they are transferrable to a number of workplace settings. Counting stock and making sure products are on the shelf is just as important as being able to communicate with a customer and pack their groceries correctly.

Skills such as counting and collating have been developed and worked on at placements across Melbourne – from St Kilda Mums where we assist the cleaning crews who take great care in restoring products that are given to mums and bubs in need, right through to letterbox drops for community centres such as Glen Eira Adult Learning Centre.

Earlier this year, you saw Super Simon learning the intricacies of car yards with Brighton Auto. Simon takes great pride in wearing his uniform while paying incredible attention to detail ensuring all showroom vehicles are dust free.

2024 is sure to bring further growth to this in demand program and we would love for you and your business to get on board! If you would like to find out more about our Community Engagement program then please get in touch with our team.
