Lonsdale Respite

I liked my bedroom. It was a nice room and my bed was very comfortable.

It was my first time staying there and I had a good time. The staff were lovely.

I ate well prepared, nice meals and had chocolate milk with breakfast.

The staff organised my lunches and I was able to make my lunches with their support. They helped me with my dinner, bath time, charged my iPad and read my communication book. I watched shows on Netflix and the shows that I normally watch.

I was able to stay in contact with my brother and my parents by sending them messages on Messenger which was great.

I am looking forward to staying there again. Aidan March 2022

Bayley House Short Term Accommodation

We provide active support to improve participation, choice, and quality of life. You will be supported in all aspects of daily living including access to appointments, attending sporting or cultural events and developing and maintaining social relationships.

Our respite facilities can also be utilised to support families who may need a safe place for care of your loved ones should you need to be away from home for a brief period (eg, weddings, celebrations, work travel and social events) or in the unfortunate instance of a family illness. Please reach out and we will help to tailor your stay to suit your needs.

The friendly and skilled staff will assist you to reach your goals in a Covid-safe environment while providing fun activities including; gardening or cooking classes or a visit to the local parks and sporting grounds and more…just ask!

Bayley House is committed to fair and equitable access practice at our Short Term Services that are consistent with the NDIS and National Disability Services Act, Equal Opportunity Act 2010 and the Charter of Human Rights. We apply these practices in the management and allocation of resources. Bayley House will ensure that each person who meets the eligibility criteria and is seeking a service has access to our Short Term Services on the basis of the organisation’s available resources.

Short Term Accommodation Fees

Short Term fees are set at a daily rate for each overnight stay. NDIS rates (see NDIS costing guide for Short Term Accommodation) apply for Individuals with an NDIS package. You can also self-fund your stay.
