Operations Manager
Home & Living Support

Astra brings a wealth of experience from over 20 years in the public sector, having worked across all tiers of Government (Federal, State, Territory, and Local). Joining Bayley House in early 2023, Astra has previously held successful leadership positions in other profit-for-purpose organizations. Astra’s genuine passion lies in designing and delivering support services that empower our clients to achieve their NDIS goals and surpass their expectations.

With a Masters of Leadership and Management, Diploma of Project Management, Advanced Diploma of Business Accounting, and Cert IV in Mental Health, Astra possesses a strong academic foundation that complements her practical expertise. She is committed to ensuring excellence in service delivery and fostering an environment where our clients thrive.



Operations Manager
Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Kapil is well-versed in delivering high-quality services for individuals with disability and possesses over 14 years of experience in the disability sector. His expertise extends to leading change management programs, including safeguarding systems, CRM development, compliance requirements, and quality assurance mechanisms. Having worked across various settings in nonprofit, government, and private organisations, Kapil has held roles ranging from support worker to senior leadership positions.

Kapil brings a holistic approach to service provision, prioritising a client centred approach, staff well-being, and compliance. Kapil’s passion for his work and commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients make him a valuable asset to Bayley House.

Bendigo House & In-Home Support

Anna has been working in the disability sector for over 30 years in various roles. She began working at Bayley House in 2007, and has lead highly motivated teams within our accommodation service. Anna has a passion for mentoring staff to ensure that the people they support lead meaningful lives. She is currently Team Leader at Bendigo House, and is developing a team of staff for our newly created In-Home Support Service.



Roster and Planning Coordinator

Joanne originally worked at Helen Schutt House in 1989 which then became part of Bayley House in 2009. In 2000, Joanne became Team Leader, then moved from a support role to Roster and Planning Coordinator for the Home and Living Service.

Blackwood House

Manhivi has worked in the disability sector since 2008 and joined Bayley in 2010 as a support worker. In 2015 he successfully applied for the role of Team leader at our Blackwood House. Manhivi is very passionate about the implementation of person-centred active support when providing daily support and follows the motto, “I see the person and we do it together”.

Leonard House
Raman brings over six years experience in the disability sector and has a passion for supporting people with disability. He prides himself on providing an environment that allows clients and their families to feel comfortable, supported and capable. While completing his Community Welfare Diploma, Raman undertook placement at Yoorolla and Sacred Heart Mission. Raman has also volunteered at Multiple Sclerosis Limited and The Nerve Centre. Raman joined Bayley House in 2021 and is now acting Team Leader at our Leonard Street House.

Marriage House

Torika started at Bayley House in 2017 as a Support Worker at our Leonard Street house. She later moved to Marriage Road house where she was later appointed Team Leader. With strong experience as Team Leader at Marriage Road, Torika is now also the Team Leader at our Poet Road house.

Will began his career with Bayley House in 2005 as Support Worker at Earlsfield house. His work there led him to Lubrano house where he is now Team Leader. Will enjoy’s the strong sense of community at Bayley House and being able to support the clients to make positive changes in their lives.

Short Term Accommodation

Alice has recently joined the Home and Living team as Team Leader at Short Term Accommodation! With a background in Supported Independent Living, Capacity Building, and School Leavers Employment Supports, Alice brings valuable experience to the role. Alice has a passion fostering independence and promoting personal growth and is strongly aligned with the organisation’s vision to empower all individuals with disability to lead a full and enriched life. Collaborating with the talented team, Alice is eager to provide exceptional support, tailored to the unique needs of our clients.

Jodi has worked in the disability sector for the past 12 years as support worker before taking on duties as a Team Leader in external residential services. Jodi joined Bayley House in early 2022 and is currently Team Leader at Earlsfield Road.
