Nice to meet you

Getting to know new people and new surroundings is an exciting part of life and recently we have been supporting many within the Bayley House community to do this by offering meet and greet sessions within our Home and Living space.

The recent announcement of our partnership with BlueCHP is proving to be fruitful with 2 groups already taking part in the SDA housing project. This prompted our Home and Living team, led by Andy Gabriel, to host an afternoon where all of those currently involved could come along and get to know each other better.

Expanding on this, our short term accommodation Operations Manager Astra Balzan and Team Leaders Alice Parkinson and Sam Ghebremariam hosted their first afternoon tea for potential new guests and their families at Asling Street. Four families came along to see the stunning property in person and they were absolutely wowed and relayed to the team that ‘the photos do not do this house justice’. The afternoon was a great starting point for people to see what is included in a ‘Bayley Stay’ where all guests are encouraged to stay their own way. Asling Street has fantastic access to the local community and is a short walk to Bay Street which hosts a number of great cafes, restaurants and even a cinema. A short train ride away is Melbourne CBD which allows guests to head into town for sports events, exhibitions, concerts and so much more.

More meet and greet sessions are planned in the coming months so that more people can come and experience a Bayley Stay for themselves.
