Deb Stuart, newly appointed ASID Board member

We would like to congratulate our CEO, Deb Stuart who was recently appointed to the board of The Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability (ASID).

ASIC is a leading organisation in intellectual disability research across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Their work strengthens the evidence base that guides our sector. Strong evidence leads to better policy and better practice. This creates the foundations for people with intellectual disability to live well and be supported in ways that truly meet their needs.

We know that Deb’s strong values relating to justice, diversity and inclusion, fairness and kindness will allow her to contribute to ASID in a very meaningful way, ensuring further support for people with intellectual disability.
