Multiplicity: Bayley Artists work on display in Melbourne gallery
25 February, 2026
Late last year a number of Bayley Artists were selected to exhibit in the ‘Multiplicity’ exhibition hosted by Jump Left gallery.
Jump Left announced the launch of ‘Multiplicity’, its first open call group exhibition for Australian artists with disability, neurodivergent artists, self-taught artists, artists with intellectual disability and others whose voices are underrepresented.
The exhibition saw Emi Tiernan, Sally Tran, Jamie Friswell and Belinda Wallace all submit their work successfully. Their work was on display alongside 60 other artists from across Victoria.
‘Multiplicity’ was created to open professional exhibition opportunities for artists who face barriers in traditional arts spaces. Participating artists had the chance to present and sell their work in a public, summer-season show, with options for accessibility supports like wheelchair access, quiet spaces, Auslan interpretation and easy-read materials. This was a brilliant representation of an inclusive event.
The launch event took place on Saturday 6 December 2025 with the exhibition running until 24 January 2026. What made this exhibition even more of a highlight for the artists was that it was supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
Congratulations to the Bayley Artists who were part of ‘Multiplicity’. If you would like to learn more about artist pathways through Bayley Arts, then please get in touch with our team.
