Since its inception in 1999, Bayley House Foundation has been instrumental in securing the long-term sustainability of Bayley House. The Foundation’s purpose is to build a corpus of funds that ensures the sustained financial stability of Bayley House, whilst contributing to major projects that benefit adults with intellectual disability who access our services.

When you leave a gift in your Will, the real value of your generosity is preserved into perpetuity. Each year, Bayley House Foundation makes a minimum distribution of 4% of the corpus to Bayley House, ensuring part of your legacy gift also has an immediate impact on vital initiatives that enhance independence, inclusion and wellbeing.

Here are just some of the ways Bayley House Foundation has made an impact in recent years. Through its annual distributions, the Foundation has helped establish and support important initiatives that strengthen Bayley House now and into the future. This includes client and family support roles such as Disability Support Coordinator, NDIS Family Liaison Officer and Client Intake Worker, along with infrastructure and systems improvements including capital works, upgrades to amenities, and IT review and client management system upgrades.

This year, Foundation funding is supporting accommodation repairs and upgrades across several sites, helping to ensure clients live in homes that are safe, well maintained and fit for purpose. These upgrades are not typically covered by NDIS funding, yet they make a real difference to residents’ everyday wellbeing and quality of life.
