Bayley Arts: Creative Classes with a Social Purpose
24 September, 2025
Bayley Arts has become a thriving Art Space where creativity, inclusion and connection come together. Part of Bayley House, a not for profit organisation that provides exceptional support for people with intellectual disability, Bayley Arts also runs art classes that invite the wider community to take part in the joy of creating.
This commercial side of Bayley Arts is run as a social enterprise. It generates income that goes straight back into Bayley House. Alongside our classes, we have products such as t-shirts and cookbooks already available, with more exciting collaborations with established companies launching soon.
Printmaking for the Community
Printmaking is one of our strengths. Our professional printing press gives people the chance to explore techniques, play with colour and create original works. These classes are designed to be inspiring and approachable, with experienced instructors guiding each step of the way.
Upcoming Workshop: Introduction to Monotype Printing
Starting Thursday 9 October at 6pm, Bayley Arts will host a six week Dry Point and Monotype Printing course. Across the term you will explore these two printmaking techniques, building your skills and creating a portfolio of unique works.
Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this course will give you the confidence to keep exploring printmaking. All materials are included.
A Place to Belong
Bayley Arts is more than a gallery or a classroom. It is a place where people come together to learn, to share and to enjoy the experience of making art. Whatever your level of experience, you are welcome at Bayley Arts.
