Angela has long participated in art programs at Bayley House and enjoys working in a quiet and creative studio. This piece is one of Angela’s first contributions to our annual exhibitions. Angela is quiet when at work but decisive about her creative choices and bold in her colour palette and design work.

Sally says she likes ‘to try new things’ when creating art. This is evident in her varied contributions to this years exhibition. Drawing inspiration from both Frida Kahlo, Kusama and Britto, Sally’s entries show her versatility and ability to adapt her skills to include many different artistic mediums and styles.

Artist Bio

Britto’s kiss is another celebration of the artist Romero Britto whose paintings convey happiness, hope and dreams. In preparing for this painting Angela and Sally took part in discussions about the positive symbolism that can be found in his paintings and how his paintings made them feel. Angela and Sally collaborated to create this piece and enjoyed working in a team on an art piece.
