Celebrating Journeys with Bayley House

This year’s Recognition Awards once again filled the hall with excitement, pride and plenty of applause as we came together to celebrate the remarkable individuals who are part of Bayley House. Families, friends, and staff gathered to recognise incredible journeys, with milestones ranging from 10 years to an extraordinary 65 years.

Bayley House has been part of the Bayside community for nearly 75 years and it was inspiring to see that some people have been with us for nearly that entire time. These awards are a cherished tradition, shining a light on the dedication, commitment and longevity of individuals who have been part of our Day Programs for decades.

Our Day Programs are at the heart of Bayley House, providing opportunities for skill development, personal growth, friendship, and connection. The longevity milestones recognised are a powerful reflection of the community we continue to build together.

To ensure every achievement received the celebration it deserved, the awards were presented across five rounds. As each award was presented, stories were shared about the person’s journey and the impact Bayley House has had in their lives. These moments not only celebrated individual achievements but also highlighted the friendships, learning and sense of belonging that make Bayley House so special.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Bayley House Family & Friends group for their ongoing support of these awards. Their contribution helps make this much loved annual event such a meaningful and joyful celebration.

These awards were more than just a ceremony. They were a powerful reminder of the strength, spirit, and resilience of the people we support and of the lasting role Bayley House plays in their lives.
