SUMMARY:Saturday Social Print Club
DESCRIPTION:Bayley Arts is excited to announce our monthly Saturday Social Print Club. \nSince starting our printmaking workshops\, students are keen to keep on printing. SUMMARY:Introduction to Printmaking - Drypoint Etching
DESCRIPTION:People are loving our introduction to printmaking classes held once a month. \nJoin artist Cecilia Jacobs in this special introduction to etching where you will learn the fundamental skills needed to create an intaglio print through drypoint. Learn how to use etching tools safely while understanding the varied techniques of drypoint etching techniques\, from scratching a design into your plate\, inking\, wiping\, and how to use a printing press. Whether you are a beginner or looking to brush up on your printmaking skills\, this class offers one-to-one tuition in a small group setting. \nWe have started a ‘social print club’ so you can continue to use our printing press with fellow printmakers.  \nCost \n$110 or $100 concession (includes tools and materials)\nMax of 8 students. \nABOUT CECILIA JACOBS \nCecilia Jacobs is a visual artist\, graphic designer\, and experienced and knowledgeable printmaker having worked for Fitzroy Etching Presses and Melbourne Etching Supplies. DESCRIPTION:Bayley Arts presents Sound Healing in our beautiful gallery facilitated by Master Reiki practitioner\, Penny Scott. \nFind a space in our gallery and sit or lie on your yoga mat\, while you immerse yourself in healing sounds and art. \nSound frequencies are used to engage with the body and mind; with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony and health. Using therapeutic sound and vibration to match the body’s frequency\, supports the healing and balancing of the body’s energy centres to achieve optimal health. \nThe use of sound can aid in invoking a state of relaxation\, which assists in relieving tension\, stress\, and anxiety held in the body; whilst elevating your mood. \nCome and be a part of this unique experience happening at Bayley Arts once a month. \nWhat to bring: \na thick yoga mat (or bring two\, as the floor can be chilly)\, blanket or bean bag.
