After Hours adventures

In the Community

Getting out in the community and hanging out with friends has been a big focus for our Community, Leisure and Recreation activities this past month.

To kick off the month, we headed to Bounce – trampolining, which is not only heaps of fun but also gives you a great workout!

Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park is a 25-acre biopark within the Pearcedale Conservation Park located at Pearcedale on the Mornington Peninsula and is a popular destination for our Community, Leisure and Recreation program. The sanctuary is home to a wide variety of animals including wombats, snakes, owls, and dingoes and visitors have the opportunity to get up close to all of these wonderful creatures. We loved exploring the sanctuary and learning about the animals.

The South Melbourne Market is the perfect spot to visit at any time of the year. We had the sun shining when we recently visited and enjoyed a day of wandering around the stalls, exploring all that is on offer. The market is a wonderful mix of colour, flavours and scents with the most popular stalls being those that sold scented candles and soaps.

The month was finished off with a big Saturday night disco – which is something we haven’t been able to do for a long time! It was also the perfect opportunity to celebrate two birthdays!
