A Fundraising Champion Supporting Disability Services at Bayley House
15 May, 2025
At Bayley House, where daily life is filled with creativity, connection and support for people with intellectual disability, there are individuals working quietly behind the scenes who make a lasting impact. One of those individuals is Hilda Glotzer-Rozenfeld—a long-time supporter, fundraiser and proud member of our Bayley House community.
For more than 20 years, Hilda has played a key role in raising funds to enhance disability support services at Bayley House. Through her leadership of the Residential Raisers fundraising group, Hilda has helped provide greater opportunities for people with disability to thrive in safe, supported environments. Hilda’s connection to Bayley House began when her son Avi joined our programs. Inspired by the care and community he experienced, Hilda saw a chance to give back. Her first fundraiser—a simple photo day for clients and staff—raised valuable funds for our accommodation services. That event marked the beginning of a remarkable journey in community fundraising.
Over the years, Hilda has brought her passion and creativity to countless fundraising initiatives. She understands that fundraising isn’t just about raising money – it’s about bringing people together in support of disability inclusion and opportunity.
Hilda’s dedication has helped fund vital programs, build stronger connections in the disability community, and inspire others to get involved. And she has no plans of stopping anytime soon! Her recent raffle was a great success, raising funds that allowed all our residents to purchase items from their wish lists for needed items across the houses. A morning tea was held recently to thank Hilda for her support and to also show her the most recent results of her fundraising. Support such as Hilda’s makes an incredible difference to the fundraising efforts at Bayley House, raising awareness within the community. Thank you, Hilda, for your unwavering support—and for showing us all how one person can make a world of difference.
